I must be missing something

This was well animated, and the voice acting was good and all, but for me this just didn't work. I just did not find this funny, and at times it even felt a bit dragged out.

I think the problem for me was that their seemed to be no solid theme for style. The animation is a badly mixed cocktail of clean drawings, blurred compressed images, real life images and that strange art work that Ren and Stimpy likes to make use of for the 'close ups'.

The jokes also seemed to be dragged out and bland, and mostly attempting to come form surreal antics.

That is exactly how it went down!

if only I had seen this sooner, i could of saved me some money!

I wish they would put this on the deh veh deh so i can watch it over and over till i wear out the deh veh deh... ill watch it soooo much that the deh veh deh will get ruined in such a way, im sure it can happen.

Confuzlement!

To be honest with you, I didnt watch all of it. Wnat to know why? It made enough sense for it to matter that it didnt make any sense. You clearly thought out a stoyry to this, but you failed to tell that story.

The animation was good in places, especialy at the start where he onfolds that bit of papper, and the loading screen looked realy good. Overall, i just think that you have rushed this. Epscially, for example the fight with the big guy, he jsut kicks him straight out the window... what the hell is up with that one dood!

Well, I did my best to come up with a 6:30min long movie for 2 months. You are maybe right it's slightly rushed, but writing a review about a movie that you didn't even finish watching is... wrong.

This started of so amazingly well.

I thought this was going to be a real good video, turns out it just a few seconds of funny.

Seriusly dood... finish this off. What you have started is REAL good. But because of the shortness of it, I have to vote this down. Its like buying a car with only the body work, and nothing else.

That was terable, there was abslutly no meaning behind it, and the sound was terable, most of it didnt play properly and as for the arni lines... very lame.

Why cant people understand, stick animation dose not mean you can do it lame!!! please put some effort into these things.

Do you know about fps?

you clearly didnt make that helicopter or those AKs, else the rest of you animation wouldnt of been so bad. When you have bits like that that look so good, makes the not so good bits looks a lot worse.

you might want to try raisng you FPS up to about 25 - 30, this means you can get a much more smoth look, though you wil have to use more frames to get the same amount of animation. and try using a smaller brush, then thicken out the stick figures where you need to, thus givnig a nice bit of flow to it, a higher FPS will help with that.

overall not that bad, but it was still just sensless stick man violence, which is just so good dam boring. I like GOOD stick work, so long as it has a nice script, or is just amazingly well made. keep it dude.

Sorry, this is my 1st submission and I'm inexperient. But really, I did the AK and the Helicopter. (Sorry I don't speak english very well...)

This aint stick figures.

Well it is stick figures, but you know it is so much better then what is normally thought of as stick figures. This was smooth, it was stlyish, it plenty of pizzaz!

The characters had a realy fluid sense of motion. this is well beyound the average lines with a blob for a haed. time to watch more of what you have done!

Just stay alive?

What is it you need help with, code or animating. Im presuming you need help with codeing, but... your idea for a game seems to be fairly flawed.

The reasons games have levels, skill gaming is that it makes them intresting. just staying the same for a 4 hour attack on your mosue button, that dont make a great game. And if im not that much mistaken, your just trying to make a resident evil stlye game...

but as for thi actull submision, it looks realy cool. If you could of kept up that supense for a bit longer with some sort of script, you could of hada pretyy dam good film there.

First of all thanks for the compliments. watch it again now that i've fixed it.

this would be a true RPG style game. But ex pererince would come from learning the ways of the game. EX. "how fast do they walk?" "how well do i know the town" "what best stops a zombie, guns or fire?". Things you will learn through out the game that will help you as you go.

You'll basicly start out by picking a empoyment be it engineer or policeman or what not and that will determin what objects and skills you start with. then you will be able to loot and salvage items and combine items. this in no way will be a "run around and shoot game"

experiment hay?

Well as a drawing style, that is realy well animated, but it is such a crapy idea it aint even funny. would like to see you use this drawing for somthing of a good story.

Do a bit of lots of things, such as flash movies and games. C++, moving on to 3D shits. Do a bit of photoshoping and ligthwave 3D modeling. Going to uni to do computer game technology, so hopefully you will see my name on games of the furture!
